Shelli Conner is a painter and illustrator whose Southern roots run deep. Born in Houma, Louisiana, she grew up surrounded by the bayous, folklore, and ghostly legends of Cajun country - influences that echo through her art.

Now a proud transplant to sunny Central Florida, Shelli transforms mythical creatures, classic monsters, and whimsical guardians into vibrant, jewel-toned beings alive with story and spirit. Working primarily in watercolor and gouache, she layers deep gemlike colors with shimmering gold outlines, creating intricate worlds where the eerie and the enchanting coexist.

Her art series brings new life to familiar figures: witches, vampires, mermaids, owls, and guardians of earth, sea, and sky, reimagined with warmth, personality, and a touch of mystery. Each piece invites viewers into a world where fantasy feels protective, playful, and powerful!
